Foundation Two enjoyed a day exploring the minibeasts and birdlife at Old Moor Reserve. We spent the morning pond dipping, then used binoculars to look for different species of birds from a bird hide. We even spotted a Lapwing, just like our class mascot, Lilly!
After our picnic, we went into the woodland habitat to hunt for more minibeasts! We used large nets to catch the flying minibeasts and looked at them closely through a magnifying glass!!
We had a fantastic time; Old Moor Reserve is definitely worth a visit!
