As part of our topic, ‘Me and My Community’, Class One visited Castleton, in The Peak District National Park. We all had a fantastic time riding the boats underground and exploring the caves; we were really brave! Taking in the spectacular views of Mam Tor and Peveril Castle, we headed for the visitor centre for our picnic in the sunshine!

After a lovely stroll through the village, we entered Peak Cavern, where we made a rope, learnt about the past and then walked deep into the cavern, discovering the hidden secrets!  A great time was had by all!
