History
At Kimberworth, we provide opportunities to develop the children’s knowledge of the chronology of history from ancient civilisations to present day. We provide opportunities for the children to make enquiries and questions about the past using different sources and drawing conclusions based on knowledge and skills that we have learnt. We expect all our children to engage in rich dialogue with traditions of historical enquiry to compare and contrast the views of themselves and others. Children can interpret a range of perspectives to ensure they have a balanced view of how past societies have shaped our local area and the wider world.
