Forest School
What is Forest School?
Forest School is an inspiring approach to learning that takes place outdoors in a natural setting. It encourages children to explore, play and learn in a woodland or outdoor environment, helping them to develop confidence, resilience, independence and a deep connection with nature.
Led by trained Forest School practitioners, these sessions are child-led and hands-on, allowing children to take supported risks and develop new skills in a safe and nurturing environment.
All children will get the chance to take part in Forest School activities at some point during the year.
Why are we introducing Forest School?
Forest School supports children's

What will the children be doing?
Each Forest School session is different and may include activities such as building dens and shelters, exploring nature and local wildlife, using tools safely and creating natural art and crafts.
